Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa located at Woodstork and Temple Terrace is opening February 2025. Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

Position Summary :

The Lead Therapist is responsible for site therapy staff scheduling, tracking and meeting department productivity, documentation requirements, regulatory / compliance requirement and validating therapist staff competency. The Lead Therapist functions as a mentor for clinical skills and assists the Market CTO in therapy department / administrative responsibilities and other related duties as assigned or requested. The Lead Therapist also fills the role of Staff Therapist and therefore is responsible for completing evaluations, developing written treatment plans and providing on-going treatments that are designed to improve the patient’s functional status in conjunction with the overall treatment objectives. The Team lead will provide direct patient care 50% of the time which can and will fluctuate based on the needs of the department.

Pay : Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Current state licensure as an Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Therapist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and / or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of clinical / patient care experience required

Desired Experience :

  • Inpatient rehabilitation experience required
