Registered Nurse – Job Summary\n\nProvides independent nursing care and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards.\n\nAssesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on ongoing health data.\n\nPerforms health teaching, counseling, and patient education.\n\nDelivers supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, directly or through delegation, supervision, or teaching.\n\nExecutes delegated medical tasks and refers patients for further evaluation as needed.\n\nMonitors and reviews therapy and treatment plans, documenting per hospital and regulatory guidelines.\n\nUtilizes resources efficiently and promotes the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health while adhering to service standards.\n\nMay float to other departments within scope of competency and may be placed on-call as required.\n\nPerforms additional duties as assigned to support patient care and operational needs.
