Piping Designer (SPID / S3D)

Location : Indianapolis, IN

Duration : 12-Month Contract

Schedule : Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Position Summary :

The Piping Designer will assist the Piping Project Lead in preparing lists, progress reports, and design deliverables directly from SPID / S3D. This role requires hands-on experience developing and modifying SPID / S3D models for process and mechanical systems, ensuring data integrity between software platforms, and maintaining accurate design documentation. Candidates from any industry with relevant SPID / S3D experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in preparation of lists and progress reports directly from SPID / S3D as required.
• Develop and modify SPID / S3D models and data for process and mechanical systems.
• Draft, design, and redline P&IDs / AF&IDs within SPID software and ensure correlation with S3D.
• Generate reports from SPID / S3D software to support project tracking and progress updates.
• Collaborate with the Piping Project Lead to maintain design accuracy, documentation, and schedule alignment.
