job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerforms or delegates tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects including : work with system designers on hardware submittals, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning and project closeout. Provide work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administration as necessary. You will be responsible for the overall financial results of assigned projects including : costs, project billings, and collections. Maintaining an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results. Coordinates communication with the customer during all phases of the project, actively pursues selling change orders. Ensure work performed is in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics. Review designs for mechanical equipment and HVAC control systems Acts as the primary on-site leader for execution teams on assigned projects. Will interface with and provide direction to various teams (internal & external) as needed to successfully execute assigned projects. Reviews and interprets drawings, specifications, and contract Terms & Conditions. Develops project execution plan, site safety plan, MS project schedule and executes accordingly. Ensures project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and JCI standards. Negotiates, prepares and issues subcontracts. Supports System Designers and System Engineers in evaluating the contractual scope of work and construction schedule. Evaluates the cost and schedule impact on projects due to Site Instructions, change directives, claims and / or scheduling changes. Actively pursues additional work through change orders. Prepares proposals and negotiates final settlement price and customer acceptance. Effectively communicates the status of projects to management as required and publish monthly forecasts of revenue, costs, and gross margin within the monthly forecasting deadline. Submits billings timely and accurately to the client and assists in collection. Maintains profitability goals and positive cash flow. Analyzes financial reporting systems and project schedules to proactively address potential problems. Effectively communicates project progress, issues and financial status to management as required. Manages risks and establishes project recovery plans when required. Resolves disputes with minimal need for escalation. Negotiates pricing and availability from outside vendors and suppliers, mechanical and electrical subcontractors including scope, terms and conditions. Requests and evaluates multiple bids in pricing process. Oversees subcontractor payment and billing processes. Oversees project construction for compliance with specifications, local codes and installation techniques. Develops and maintains viable long-term relationships with customers, consultants, prime contractors and subcontractors. Attends job progress meetings as required. Ensures subcontractors understand expectations of the project. Coordinates with Sales & Operations Managers, Construction Management Services and Branch Installation Manager, Systems Team Leader, Service Operations Manager and / or Branch Mechanical Project Team Leader for allocation of resources needed to meet project objectives. Ensures any engineering and commissioning performed by the field team is in accordance with established standards. Coordinates customer-training requirements. Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or direct General Contracting and or Mechanical and HVAC Controls Construction project management experience. Minimum of seven or more years of direct project leader management experience. Must have experience with installing chillers, AHUs, Fan Coil units, boilers, etc. Must understand HVAC controls, including DDC controllers, actuators, valves, temperature and pressure sensors, dampers, etc. Must have knowledge of mechanical systems and their application Six years field experience with installing HVAC Equipment and systems, including knowledge of digital HVAC controls, and mechanical estimating tools / methods. Knowledge of project accounting, costing principals and contracting. High-level competence in written and verbal communication. Ability to travel based upon geographical locations of assigned teams.

Hiring Salary Range : $155,000-$175,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
