The Construction Foreman is responsible for the completion of project-specific tasks. This Foreman must exercise leadership skills to oversee tradesmen needed to complete project related tasks, ensure that their team is working safely and efficiently, and address any job site concerns. The Foreman will also be responsible for communicating project progress to supervisors and ensuring a safe work environment.

- Manage and run field laborers and carpenters.
- Reports directly to Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent
- Assist team with meeting construction schedules and deadlines.
- Help Assistant Superintendents with planning and procurement of material and equipment.
- Work with operations team to successfully complete projects.
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
- Report any discrepancies to Superintendent or Asst. Superintendent.
- Familiar with Construction Documents
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities.
- Meet schedule and monitor progress of crew.
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate.
- Utilize light construction machinery and equipment to facilitate completion of the project.
- Resolve problems when they arise.
- Report on progress to Operations team.
Education, Experience, & Qualifications
1 to 5 years of commercial construction experience.Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative and team environment.Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), Bilingual is a plus.Experience operating skid steers and forklifts.Proven success in providing leadership by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestonesFlexible, with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesSelf-starter who can take initiative and drive resultsBelief in innovation; demonstrated imagination and a creative approach in generating new ideasProfessional demeanor at all times; ability to act as a Perrier Esquerré Contractors representative to the publicRequirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to communicate information and ideas effectively so others will understand. Duties are performed occasionally in the office but are primarily performed on PEC's jobsites, which requires traveling to other facilities using employee's personal transportation.This role occasionally uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and various digital devices.This is a full-time position; days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, however may vary as project needs.Commitments :
