Emergency Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity near Chesterhill, Ohio

We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in southeast Ohio, near Chesterhill. This is a great chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing essential care to the community. The position is ideal for physicians who can commit to a minimum of 5 shifts per month and are available for night and weekend shifts.

    • Primarily 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. with a focus on nights and weekends

    Responsibilities

  • Oversee APPs (Advanced Practice Providers)
  • Write orders for admissions
  • Work closely with consultants including radiologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, urologists, and oncologists
  • Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population

    • Requirements

  • Ohio State Medical License (required)
  • Board Certification

    • Must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine through ABMS / AOA (double board certification accepted)

  • Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency medicine experience required

  • Certifications

    • NRP required

  • COVID Vaccination

    • Required

  • Malpractice insurance must be included in the hourly rate

  • EMR system : All Scripts / Paragon
  • Travel arrangements must be booked through the designated provider
  • Medical staff fees reimbursed after completing the first shift
