Job Title : Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of building and clinic facilities. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical, HVAC, lighting, and appliance issues, as well as performing minor structural repairs and coordinating with third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Complete checklists and log maintenance tickets.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, lighting, and appliance issues.
  • Perform minor structural repairs such as walls, ceilings, and floors, and light painting.
  • Coordinate and escort third-party vendors when necessary.
  • Keep workspaces clean and hazard-free.
  • Maintain relationships with building management and understand building regulations.
  • Respond promptly to facility support requests.
  • Participate in the safety team and promote safe practices.
  • Use maintenance and ticketing systems to track tasks.
  • Follow preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate vendor services as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and leadership using Microsoft Office and internal messaging tools.
  • Stay updated on new technologies to improve efficiency.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, troubleshooting, and facilities maintenance.
  • Ability to perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of facilities experience.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Trade school or relevant certifications and / or job experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and internal messaging tools.

    Work Environment

    Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM. Parking is provided. This role requires maintaining a professional and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and being open to adopting new technologies.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00 / hr.
