- Assisting and providing direction to residents regarding their\n\npersonal care needs, which include but are not limited to, grooming,\n\nhygiene, dressing, nutrition, etc.\n
- Answering signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine\n\nresidents needs using a proactive approach.\n
- Taking and recording temperature, blood pressure, pulse and\n\nrespiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as\n\ndirected.\n
- Transporting residents or assisting residents with walking along\n\nwith turning or repositioning residents alone or with assistance.\n
- Changing bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers\n\ntelephone.\n
- Assisting with laundry and housekeeping duties.\n
- Assisting residents to and from dining room as needed and assists\n\nwith meals.\n
- Encouraging and assisting residents to participate in activities.\n
- Listening and understanding of the problems of residents and reports\n\nobservations immediately to the care team as needed.\n
- Promoting the physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing of each\n\nresident and striving to maintain the ultimate goal, which is to\n\nreturn the resident to their maximum level of self-care and\n\nindependence, when possible.\n
- Understanding the residents Advance Directives and following their\n\nwishes.\n
- Ensuring effective communication is being utilized by community\n\nstaff with the residents families concerning residents care,\n\nencompassing their physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing.\n
- Working well with others and taking direction from management, as\n\nwell as taking initiative with the capability to engage in conflict\n\nintervention and resolution for residents, families, employees, and\n\nothers as needed.\n

While performing the duties of this job, the\n\nemployee isoccasionally required to stand / move, communicate, and\n\nidentify written information.The employee is occasionally required\n\nto climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and lift\n\nand / or move up to 50 pounds independently; occasionally lift and / or\n\nmove up to 200 pounds with assistance.\n
