Bilingual Small Claims Specialist

The Bilingual Small Claims Specialist is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include :

• Contacting customers whose accounts have been charged off and prepared for assignment to civil litigation or small claims actions.
• Negotiating suitable arrangements to resolve deficiency balances on these accounts.
• Representing the Bank in small claims proceedings involving unresolved accounts, with the goal of securing judgments, settlements, stipulations, or payment plans.
• Communicating with borrowers on delinquent, charged-off, or judgment accounts to collect deficiency balances through monthly payments, signed settlements, or lump-sum payments.
• Conducting skip tracing and locating addresses for the service of legal process.
• Coordinating with process servers to ensure timely service prior to court hearings.
• Reviewing active judgments to identify assets, employment, and banking information in order to pursue abstracts, writs of execution, bank levies, or wage orders.

Required qualifications for the position include :

Pay Rate Range :   $22.00 - $27.00 per hour or $45,760 - $56,160 annual

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
