Job Title : Advanced Practice Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Description :

• Work in the hospital operating room and the outpatient surgery center.
• Manage 16+ rooms, handling MAC, general anesthesia, emergent, urgent, and elective cases.
• Perform intubation and IV placement.
• Operate under a supervision model using Drager anesthesia machines and Omnicell medication dispensing systems.
• Handle patient encounters per shift (to be determined).
• Facility trauma level 2 with pediatric level 3.
• Conduct the following types of anesthesia : general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia surgery.
• Handle obstetrical cases and neurosurgical cases, including head and spine.
• Manage thoracic cases, complex vascular cases, complex orthopedic cases, and pain management techniques.
• Provide post-op epidural and extremity block care.
• Perform epidural steroid procedures for lumbar and cervical areas, with transforaminal, lumbar, and cervical expertise.
• Use x-ray guidance for block performance.
• Manage ventilation and evaluate acute volume / BP issues.
• Responsible for central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement.
• Oversee CRNA supervision.
• Nearest airport and lodging recommendations are provided per lodging caps in place. Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days.
