Summary :
This role will serve as the operational backbone for R&D ventures, working closely with the VP of Venture Delivery to ensure disciplined execution and cross-functional coordination. It functions to drive the internal operating rhythm by structuring governance forums, monitoring performance against key milestones, and ensuring operational continuity across workstreams. It proactively manages risk by identifying dependencies, surfacing issues early, and implementing mitigation strategies that protect both speed and compliance. This role will also support seamless integration across privacy, legal, compliance, and resource planning, ensuring these critical functions are synchronized with venture priorities and execution timelines. This position is vital in maintaining momentum, transparency, and alignment throughout the venture lifecycle, while enabling effective stakeholder communication, fostering accountability, and reinforcing enterprise-wide confidence in venture delivery.
Role Responsibilities :
Lead end-to-end project management and milestone tracking across product, engineering, design, and commercial teams
Establish and manage documentation, reporting, and meeting rhythms to support decision-making and accountability
Serve as liaison with privacy, legal, and compliance stakeholders to ensure venture readiness and risk mitigation
Coordinate staffing plans, hiring processes, and budgeting efforts in alignment with R&D Operations
Support internal communications and alignment across venture contributors and executive sponsor
Requirements :
Background as a chief of staff, program manager, or operations lead in a product / tech / startup environment
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and go-to-market planning
Proven ability to operate cross-functionally across technical and non-technical teams
Experience with executive-level communication, reporting, and operational risk management
Expertise in project management tools, operational dashboards, and reporting systems
Strong command of agile frameworks and data-informed execution approaches
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for clarity and coordination
Understanding of legal / privacy / compliance integration in product development
Budget management, resource planning, and hiring coordination skills
Estimated Hiring Range :
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
