What You Will Do

Production Test Engineer - PW1900G to support testing of production engines at the Middletown Engine Center. The Production Test Engineer - PW1900G is responsible for ensuring every engine demonstrates all test requirements and resolves issues involving the test stand, data acquisition, and / or the engine.

Middletown currently supports testing the F135, F100, V2500-A5 / E5, PW4000 94", PW1100G NEO, & PW800. This role will serve as the Middletown PTE Model Manager (focal) for the PW1900G program including initial onboarding of the PW1900G to production test.

• Increase working knowledge with in-house processes such as analyzing test data, working with production-specific acquisition systems, and processing compliance / customer requirements
• Perform troubleshooting on engine, test systems hardware, and test systems software
• Review and trend engine performance / execution to ensure engines meet the performance specifications in their test procedures
• Provide written engineering recommendations during engine test to operations / quality
• Communicate with external engineering groups as issues arise during tests
• Flow down operator / inspector communications as required via material from model managers, test integration leads, test management

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to role, experience, location, education, and skills.
