The Role :

• Are you detail-oriented and enjoy ensuring top-quality products?
• RB Metal Finishing is looking for a Shop Helper to join our dedicated team.
• In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager and all production areas to optimize customer order workflow.

What You’ll Do :

• Movement of materials.
• Follow written procedures on shop orders and / or customer paperwork.

Fill in as needed :

• Inspect and measure incoming, in-process, and completed parts using calipers to ensure they meet blueprint specifications.  Complete inspection reports.

• Wrap and pack customer parts for shipment, ensuring everything is ready for delivery with care and precision.

• Promote good housekeeping and safety practices.
• Perform simple maintenance tasks on equipment and facility.
• Work with our talented team to address any defects and maintain the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with different departments to resolve any issues, ensuring a seamless workflow.

Pay Rate :

Flexible Work Schedule and HALF DAY Fridays! :

• Standard work hours are Monday-Thursday 7am-4 : 30pm; Friday 7am-11am – however we are flexible if you need to start your day at a slightly different time to compliment your personal life.

Training Provided :

• Don’t worry if you’re new to inspection or packaging – we’ll equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to succeed.

What We’re Looking For :

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience A sharp eye for detail and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with ease.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
