Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Scholarly Communication & Collections Services, The Data Services Librarian designs and provides services to scholars in the support of research data management.
The position will provide support and instruction in data management tools and techniques required by faculty, researchers, and students in line with FAIR Guiding Principles for scientific data management. The Data Services Librarian offers workshops and consultation services in the Anderson Academic Commons’ Research Center, partners with the Scholarly Communications Librarian, the Digital Initiatives Librarian, and liaison librarians as appropriate. They will also work with campus partners in IT@DU, the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, and the University of Denver’s Research Data, Services and Ethics Committee. The librarian actively engages in scholarly activities through research and publication and participates in professional organizations, as well as library and campus committees. Appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor, non-tenure track.

Work Schedule
Flexible, but generally, M-F 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm.

Salary Grade Number
The salary grade for the position is UL.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000.
