Certifications : NRP & BLS required

Must-Have :

Candidates must have Mother Baby experience.

Description :

The unit has a total of 10 beds.

There are 26 staff members on the unit.

Day shift consists of 3 mother baby RNs and 1 transition RN.

Night shift consists of 3 mother baby RNs and 1 transition RN.

The patient ratio is 3-4 couplets per nurse.

Equipment includes CPN charting, infant warmers, bassinets, NELCOR pulse oximetry for CCHD, bili lights, and IV pumps.

EMR is Meditech & CPN.

Candidates with personal connection capability with patients will be given preference.

Flexibility and transition experience are a plus.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include circumcisions, staple removal, and newborn testing.
