JOB SUMMARY :

The Global Promotions Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals to gain valuable knowledge, skills and early career experience on a global marketing team based in New York City, NY. In this position, the intern will get the chance to work on a semester-long competitive research project as well as contribute to presentation decks and recaps that will be shared with members of the leadership team.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

Creates and updates reporting tools and charts for weekly / monthly distribution across departments.

Provides administrative support as needed for the department, including expense reports, monthly team calendars, sending documents for signature, supply orders, and scheduling as needed.

Assists team in the development of marketing & sales materials, program overviews, media evaluation forms, and recap decks.

Attends calls & meetings and assists with team members projects.

Completes competitive research project to present to team at the end of Internship.

Gains exposure to promotional and partnership marketing on a global scale.

Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.

Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.

A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE :

Preferred majors include : Marketing, Business Administration, Media, Communications, or similar.

This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our New York City, NY offices.

Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2026.

Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.

All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
