Duties / Responsibilities

Duties / Responsibilities

Lead and conduct laboratory research on plant diseases. Such activities include but are not limited to preparation of media, pathogen isolation, DNA extraction, molecular testing, gel electrophoresis, purification of samples for long-term storage.

Collect soil samples from field, planting, and harvesting crops in field, maintaining field trials; maintaining greenhouse plants and cultures, and greenhouse experiments
