Clinical Manager
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Medical Imaging, the Clinical Manager provides oversight and leadership to the assigned imaging modalities at Winchester Medical Center. The Clinical Manager ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality imaging services, supports staff development, and maintains compliance with regulatory standards to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develops and / or implements key organizational processes supporting patient experience, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Supports quality, strategic planning, employee and patient satisfaction.
- Serves as the strategic operational liaison for assigned imaging modalities, fostering collaboration across WMC departments and other partnerships to ensure alignment with institutional goals and service excellence.
- Provides strategic planning of imaging technology and operational growth to align with community access of imaging services under their direction.
- Ensures standard operating policies and procedures along with staff training and competency needs are met.
- Responsible for compliance with regulatory and quality requirements for imaging services under direction.
- Fosters environment of service excellence and quality for staff, patient, providers, clients and community.
- Supports development and implementation of effective performance improvement initiatives within area(s) of responsibility.
- Provides support in rotation for Medical Imaging Administrator on call duties as needed.
Education
Bachelor's degree or Radiology Administrator Certification (CRA) is required.Master's degree is preferred.Experience
Four years of clinical imaging experience is required.Two years of leadership experience is required.Certification & Licensure
Certification in an Imaging modality is required.Additional Imaging related certifications are preferred.Qualifications
Strong commitment to humanizing patient care for patients and clinical team members required.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.Knowledgeable and competent to manage the department to provide services appropriate to all age groups required.Benefits
