Under limited supervision of the plant physician, optimizes the health of the worker through preventative and curative services. These services include diagnosis, screening, management, and surveillance of occupational illness or injury, emergency health care treatment, health promotion and protective services, safety training, and employee counseling and assistance.

Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Occupational Health RN!

As a Occupational Health RN at MercyOne, you will optimizes the health of the worker through preventative and curative services.   These services include diagnosis, screening, management, and surveillance of occupational illness or injury, emergency health care treatment, health promotion and protective services, safety training and employee counseling and assistance.

• Implements the Occupational Program in accordance with policy of the plant.
• Coordinates first aid and safety programs onsite according to contracted services :
• a.   Follows up on all employee accidents and / or illnesses.
• b.   Initiates and coordinates protocol for movement of the employee for work related and non-work-related injuries / illnesses.
• c.         Maintains Instructor status of First Responder and CPR courses.
• Implements return to work programs on contracted site locations
