Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN with a CA license for night shifts requiring BLS and NRP certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital setting
  • Night shifts, 3x12 hours, from 19 : 00 to 7 : 30
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • NICU patient population focusing on specialized neonatal care
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective neonatal patient care based on sound nursing principles and unit policies
  • Coordinate with physicians, patients, and families to deliver and revise individualized care plans
  • Required to complete modules during orientation via e-learning as part of onboarding
  • Only one holiday off will be approved during the contract
  • Completion of modules during orientation is required, with additional hours billed if exceeding standard expectations

  • Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU RN experience
  • Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Returning travelers must have been gone for at least one year
