Radiology Technologist-Bryan Urgent Care -Northpointe
GENERAL SUMMARY :
Performs diagnostic x-ray procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician. Uses x-ray technology and techniques to assist in the diagnosis of patient medical problems. Assists with coordinating the flow of patients and patient calls to facilitate quality patient care and customer service goals.

3. Assists with rooming clinic patients by obtaining vital signs, height and weight and prepares patient for visit.
4. Assists the medical provider with examinations and procedures under the direction of the medical provider or Registered Nurse.

17. Recognizes and reacts to emergency procedures per role and policies / procedures.
18. Assists with patient care that is consistent with standards of care and clinical priorities determined by the RN, physician or APP with the nature of the clinic, BPN policies and procedures, demonstrated competencies, and with consideration given to risk management and infection control practices.
19. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
20. Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.
21. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technologist program required. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) required.
OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS :
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required. Bryan Health recognizes American Heart Association (for healthcare professionals), American Red Cross (for healthcare professionals) and the Military Training Network.
