job_description.job_card.job_descriptionManage user access, roles, and permissions within AB Initio environments. Monitor system performance, logs, and job execution in Control Center . Handle environment refreshes , migration, and deployment of graphs and sandboxes between Dev, Test, and Prod. Troubleshoot job failures, environment issues, and performance bottlenecks. Automate operational tasks using shell scripting / Python . Coordinate with Data Engineering, Infrastructure, and DB teams for root cause analysis. Apply and test AB Initio patches and upgrades . Ensure backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place. Support scheduling tools (Autosys, Control-M, or similar) integration. Strong hands-on in AB Initio Co> Good understanding of ETL workflows, metadata, and EME (Enterprise Meta> Familiarity with UNIX / Linux administration and scripting. Exposure to data warehousing concepts and performance tuning. Basic knowledge of networking, file systems, and DB connectivity (Oracle, Teradata, etc.). Experience in migration, upgrade, and environment automation. Knowledge of Ab Initio Express> Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket). Cloud experience (AWS / Azure data platforms). Good communication and production support experience.
