Senior Finance Associate

Well-established university based in Manhattan. This role is 4 days per week in office with 1 from home, and offers an individual with 5+ years of accounting / finance experience the chance to join a collaborative team at a mission-driven university.

Job Description

This role will involve you to :

• Lead U.S. finance operations across nonprofit and foundation entities
• Manage accounts payable, expense processing, and banking
• Own general ledger and month-end close, ensuring U.S. GAAP and nonprofit compliance
• Oversee U.S. tax filings and annual audits with external advisors
• Liaise with global finance teams (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A)
• Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
• Establish scalable processes, policies, and internal controls
