About The Position

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist

License : Pending license accepted at manager's discretion

Certifications : BLS, ARRT required

Must-Have :

Work experience with outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU required.

Experience with PACS, C-Arm, contrast, and biopsies is required.

Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdomen, pelvis, and upper / lower extremities is required.

Must be able to use and deploy pushable / detachable coils.

Must be able to use micro catheters and micro wires.

Must be able to use snare kits.

Must be able to use injector systems, preferable ACIST.

Epic experience is required.

Description :

Position requires an interventional radiology technologist with immediate availability.

The shift is 4x10 days from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM.

Two years of experience are required, but first-timers are accepted.

Call rotation is required, with call assigned an average of 10 days per month, including weekends.

Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility.

Requests for time off must be submitted with the application.

Special procedures required include hybrid OR, mesenteric angiogram, and percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram.

Experience in central venous access and all aspects of venous access is crucial.

Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
