About The Position

Job Title : Clienttion Therapist

Experience : Minimum 3-5 years of experience specific to Clienttion Oncology, 5 years preferred.

License : ARRT Licensure

Certifications : BLS, ARRT Licensure

Must-Have :

• Graduate from a Clienttion Therapy program eligible for sitting for Clienttion Therapist (T) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Required therapies / skills include : Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and Tomotherapy Accuray Tomotherapy experience.
• Experience with Accuray Tomotherapy HI.ART and Elekta Infinity is required.
• Preferred experience includes : CT Simulation and Volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT).
• Required equipment experience includes : Accuray Tomotherapy HI.ART and Elekta Infinity.

Description :

This position involves working primarily in an outpatient setting.

The department treats a variety of cancer types, including lung, breast, brain, head / neck, gynecological cancers, metastatic disease, and lymphomas.

On average, the department sees 60 patients per day.

The patient ratio is 2 : 1, with two therapists per treatment machine.

There is a potential to float to support the department, but this will always be with another therapist.

Travelers must live more than 100 miles from any facility and cannot work for the same organization as a permanent staff member for one year after leaving.

Weekend and holiday rotations are not required, and on-call is also not necessary.

Approval for time off allows for up to 7 days without manager approval, which must extend to accommodate a full 13-week contract.

The department consists of a supervisor, chief physicist, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, RNs, and LPNs.

The charting system used is Epic, with Mosaiq also required.
