As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for residents and visitors. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. Pay Rate : $18.68 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What Youll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control protocols.
  • Monitor and control entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access to the residential location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to communicate any concerns or updates regarding security-related matters at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
