Job Summary :
The Rehabilitation Services Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our rehab departments. This position requires strong multitasking skills, excellent communication, and a professional demeanor. You will manage scheduling, coordinate and communicate with our insurance verification / authorization team, manage office workflow, and act as a central liaison between staff, patients, and providers.
Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the rehab department officeSchedule patient appointments and maintain manager / team calendarsCoordinate / Communicate with the insurance verification teamManage daily reconciliation of charges and assist with billing-related documentationServe as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, and insurance representativesMaintain organized electronic patient recordsTrack authorizations and ensure timely renewal to prevent interruptions in careProvide administrative support to clinical staff as neededCollaborate with offshore teams and billing departments for efficient workflowPrepare reports and maintain logs in Excel and other software as neededEnsure office supplies are stocked and equipment is functioningUphold HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all timesQualifications :
Previous administrative or office management experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferredKnowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredWork Environment :
