East West Bank is currently seeking a Portfolio Manager for our Fund Finance business in the Eastern U.S region. This individual will work with the Managing Director of the Eastern region and other team members in structuring, underwriting and managing a portfolio of loans within the Fund Finance space. Main differentiating factor as seniority increases is the consultative approach this PM demonstrates when dealing with their clients and internal constituents. This position handles needs for a wide array of borrowers with different credit structures and depository requirements. Must have experience in underwriting loans within the Fund Finance space.

Responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Manager in underwriting, managing and structuring fund financing loans
• Assist with due diligence / analysis with new client relationships
• Co-manage commercial relationships by analyzing financial data
• May make presentations on specific loans and participate in the bank's Loan Approval Process
• Analyze and create financial loan write-ups to generate new loans
• Assist in accurately risk rating loans / credits
• Manage the renewal process by working with the Relationship Manager, the client and the credit department
• Partner with the Relationship Manager as the point of contact for the client
• Work with credit analysts in reviewing existing credits
• Ongoing monitoring of credit / Covenant Compliance
• Develop problem loan credit solutions
• Responsible for credit risk and quality of the portfolio
• Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance
• Perform other administrative duties required for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients
• Perform other duties and special projects as needed
