JOB SUMMARY

The CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist (HBM) will perform a variety of finish machining practices involved with drilling, threading (tap & thread mill), boring, etc., while maintaining close tolerances on a wide variety of components from various industries. The ideal candidate needs to be fluent with Fanuc Controls (Tosnuc) including A+ experience with cogs dill contouring heads and the use of right-angle heads. The candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, read and understand programs, all to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements. Must have basic hand & measuring tools, indicators, etc.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Maintain a safe working environment and a commitment to safety excellence.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with the safety policy, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Must be able to read and understand Blueprints and G-Code
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
• Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues.
