job_description.job_card.job_descriptionIn building power distribution systems Customer owned campus power distribution systems up to 35 kV Backup power emergency generator and UPS systems Telecommunications infrastructure and cabling systems Fire alarm systems, audio / visual systems, call and clock systems Access control and video surveillance systems Meeting and coordinating with clients during the design phase Coordinating and meeting with other professional members of the design team Construction administration phase activities including : Construction meetings Construction observation and reports Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 0 years of experience or designer with 5 plus years of related experience EIT is or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Working towards PE license Must be willing to work on site in the Bismarck, ND office Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) AutoCAD, Revit and BlueBeam experience a plus Must be well organized and can work independently and collaboratively with other professionals, colleagues, and clients Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a professional and pleasant attitude Desire to produce quality work and grow professionally while adhering to ethical company standards Efficiently balance and maintain a schedule between several projects and timelines of multiple on-going projects Must have a valid driver's license In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment verification form upon hire MBN Engineering, Inc. does not sponsor an employment visa MBN Engineering, Inc. does not cover relocation expenses Work hours are 8am - 5pm, 40 hours per week or as needed based on deadlines and project schedules Summer hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day) Monday - Thursday 7 : 30 - 5 : 30, Friday 8 : 00 - 12 : 00 Salary to be determined based on experience - $60,000-$70,000 range depending upon experience Benefits include : Long Term - 100% company paid Life Insurance – 100% company paid AD & D Insurance - 100% company paid Paid Time Off Eight company paid holidays Health Savings Account 401K Plan with profit sharing Continuing Education reimbursement PE License renewal reimbursement

We are currently seeking qualified Electrical Designer or Engineering candidates to work full-time and IN PERSON in our Bismarck, ND office. The selected candidate will work IN PERSON directly under a licensed professional engineer to develop the required experience and knowledge to become or continue as a successful Licensed Electrical Engineer.
MBN Engineering, Inc. provides consulting services to architects and developers for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Transmission engineering services. We specialize in designing facilities such as sports complexes, recreational spaces, churches, medical and educational facilities, operations centers, multi family living environment, mixed use, as well as commercial establishments for both public and private clients. MBN Engineering began in 2007 and has over 100 years of combined service and licensed in 33 states.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Design and specification of electrical systems for building projects including :
Lighting Systems and Controls
Shop drawing review, pay request review
Qualifications :
