Registered Nurse – CSICU (Cardiac ICU)

Facility : Mount Sinai Morningside

Location : 1111 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10025

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM)

Schedule : 3 shifts / week, (3x12-hour shifts approx.) with weekend coverage required

Position Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Surgical ICU (CSICU) at Mount Sinai St. Luke's. The nurse will provide safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory, research, and evidence-based practice to critically ill cardiac patients. Strong collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and adherence to Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care principles are essential. The unit operates on a Modified Primary Nursing Care Delivery Model with an average census of 17 patients. Weekend coverage is required.

Certifications & Requirements

RN License : New York State RN license required

Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Post Open Heart and Cardiac Care Units
