Inventory Analyst And Auditor

Location : Houston, TX

Position Reports To : Director of Lube Product Management

Schedule : Monday through Friday. 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. Some overtime and weekends may be required.

Compensation : Commensurate with skills and experience

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate physical inventory cycle counts
• Investigate cycle count variances and resolve issues
• Update and reconcile internal costs for repackaged products
• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
• Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close
• Work with the lubricant management team to locate and dispose of obsolete inventory
• Responsible for recording and tracking all documents relating to the physical inventories
• Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses
• Report on breakeven points by products, work centers, and factories
• Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing on process improvement
• Prepare and balance book inventory reports
• Assist branches in balancing inventory
• Provide support for yearly audits
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the manager
