HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU Level I for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Nights

Schedule Options : 36 or 48 hours per week

Job Overview

The CVICU RN will provide specialized nursing care for critically ill patients recovering from cardiac surgery and cardiovascular procedures. The nurse will work with advanced equipment and therapies while ensuring the highest standard of patient care.

Previous travel experience preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience preferred

Certifications

  • Required : ACLS, BLS

  • PICC Line Management
  • Starting and Maintaining IVs

    • Respiratory / Thoracic

  • Assist with Chest Tube Insertion and Removal
  • Assist with Management of BiPAP and CPAP
  • Care of Ventilated Patients
  • High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
  • Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
  • Suctioning (ETT, NT)
  • Ventilator Management

    • Cardiovascular

  • ECMO
  • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
  • Post Cardiac Surgery (Directly from OR)
  • Post Cardiac Surgery (Not Directly from OR)
  • Pre / Post Cardiac Catheterization / Intervention
  • Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan Ganz Monitoring
  • Sheath Removal
  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation / Replacement (TAVI / TAVR)
  • Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD / RVAD)

    • Neurological

  • CVA / Acute Stroke Management
  • Hypothermia Protocol / Arctic Sun

    • Genitourinary / Renal

  • Chronic / Acute Renal Failure
  • CVVHD / CRRT
