HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Roswell, New Mexico.

Job Title : Labor & Delivery / LDRP Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Roswell, NM

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 00 – 06 : 30), every other weekend

Unit : LDRP, patient ratio 1 : 3

Facility : Acute Care / Community Hospital

Charting System : Epic

Key Notes :

  • Patient age groups : Neonates, Mothers
  • Interdisciplinary support : Respiratory, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy
  • Rooms / Beds : 11

    • Job Overview :

    Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a Labor & Delivery / LDRP unit. The RN will manage labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn couplet care, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

    Responsibilities :

  • Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections, postpartum care, and episiotomy / incisional care
  • Provide newborn assessments, care, and interventions including hypoglycemia monitoring, phototherapy, thermoregulation, and infant ID
  • Support breastfeeding and lactation
  • Manage triage of obstetrical patients
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum 1 year RN experience in L&D
  • BLS, NRP required; STABLE preferred
  • Ability to work nights, every other weekend, and float within scope if needed
  • Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
