About the Role

We're looking for a resourceful and creative Marketplace Marketing Manager to lead the marketing engine for our fast-growing sales team. Sitting at the intersection of brand, content, and commerce, this role is critical to expanding the Fanatics Collect brand, supporting international growth, and generating demand across both B2C and B2B collector segments. You'll drive everything from campaign execution and PR to trade show presence and collector engagement strategiesensuring our marketing efforts are deeply aligned with revenue and marketplace growth.

You'll report directly to the VP of Marketplace and collaborate closely with sales, design, and social teams to build brand affinity, acquire consignments, and grow dealer relationships globally.

Responsibilities :

  • Own and execute end-to-end marketing strategies that support marketplace growth, with a focus on brand development, customer acquisition, and dealer engagement.
  • Partner with the sales team to develop trade show strategies, manage event marketing, and design booth experiences that reflect our collector-first ethos.
  • Create and manage compelling video content, marketing collateral, and swag to support sales conversations and community engagement.
  • Identify and pursue PR opportunities to amplify key business milestones and stories across collector and business media.
  • Analyze adjacent markets (e.g., sneakers, comics, pop culture) and craft targeted campaigns to convert new collector segments.
  • Build basic advertising and organic social media campaigns to support promotions, launches, and collector engagement.
  • Manage creative development of marketing assets, including visualizing booth materials and branded content.
  • Serve as a key internal voice of the hobby, ensuring marketing tone and materials resonate with passionate collectors.
  • Support international expansion with localized marketing strategies tied to dealer development and consignment acquisition.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within sports, collectibles, marketplaces, or startup environments.
  • Demonstrated success in brand marketing, event / trade marketing, and PR strategy.
  • Strong storytelling and content development skills, particularly across video and digital formats.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams and understanding revenue-aligned marketing tactics.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital advertising tools.
  • Visual sensibility and ability to manage creative output (design, booth layouts, swag, etc.)
  • Hobby experience or strong working knowledge of trading cards and memorabilia is required.
  • Bonus : Deep expertise across all collectible categories or previous experience in the sports industry.
  • Highly adaptable, organized, and proactiveable to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
