Emergency Medicine Locums Physician - Louisiana, No Call

Emergency Medicine coverage in Louisiana near New Orleans with no call, flexible 12-hour shifts, and fast credentialing.

Highlights

  • No call; work your shift, then you're off
  • Fast credentialing; start within 60-90 days
  • Choose your shifts; 6a-6p, 10a-10p, or 6p-6a

Practice Setting

  • Primary Stroke Center with 18% admission rate
  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient emergency care
  • 24-hour MD and APP support; total of 36 MD / 35 APP hours / day
  • Cerner EMR
  • Schedule

  • Ongoing 12-hour shifts available
  • Select your shift type and frequency
  • No minimum shift commitment required
  • Cases and Procedures

  • Full-scope EM : lines, airways, chest tubes
  • Includes psychiatric cases (psych team support available)
  • All ages seen in ED
  • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM only)
  • Active Louisiana license
  • ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
  • Travel Accommodations

  • Full travel package : airfare, lodging, rental car, mileage
