SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday (6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM)

PAY RANGE : Based on Experience

What You'll Do

The Filling Line Operator is a full-time, permanent role within a high-volume manufacturing environment, specializing in the production of bingo markers and glue products. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of multiple filling lines. The Filling Line Operator is responsible for machine setup, calibration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal production levels and consistent quality standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and collaborate within a crew-based environment to meet production deadlines and support continuous improvement efforts.

The ideal candidate is an experienced machine operator with 3-5 years in a crew-based manufacturing environment. They bring strong mechanical aptitude, proven troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read and follow production schedules with accuracy. A natural team player and leader, they can train and guide crew members while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, takes pride in producing high-quality products, and actively contributes to continuous improvement.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include :

  • Operate and maintain lines # 1,2 & 3, ensuring proper setup, operation and quality control throughout the production process.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment per job specifications and work schedules.
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.
  • Inspect product quality by conducting regular checks on output, ensuring compliance with specifications, and making real-time adjustments as needed.
  • Work closely with other departments to optimize production efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Review and interpret production schedules and job instructions to ensure accurate execution.
  • Ensure correct labeling and documentation in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
  • Train and lead crew members, fostering teamwork and knowledge-sharing.
  • Follow all safety policies, guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Ensure proper material handling and organization, reducing waste and improving workflow.
  • Contribute to process improvements, recommending ways to optimize production, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Assist in reviewing upcoming jobs and collaborate with leadership on optimizing production strategies.
  • Other duties as required.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 to 4 years of technical training or experience in machine operation or related fields.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in machine operation.
  • Comprehensive computer experience, including proficiency in operating machine interfaces and tracking and analyzing production data.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
  • Ability to lead and train a team, ensuring smooth production flow.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and team coordination.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in production processes.
  • Ability to analyze and improve processes, identifying ways to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
  • Additional Requirements :

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (sponsorship is not available).
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
