Job Description

The Division of Humanities and Learning Communities is looking to hire Adjunct Faculty staff members to teach for the Communication Department for in-person and Hybrid in-person / web courses.

Responsibilities

Ability to teach the following courses

COM 241 Introduction to Today\'s Journalism

COM 242 Multimedia Journalism

Course offerings are available in both fully in-person and Hybrid in-person / web formats on campus (Charlestown and Chelsea campuses), Monday through Saturday, 7 : 00 a.m. to 10 : 00 p.m.

Qualifications

Master\'s degree or Ph.D. in Journalism, Communication, or a related field.

Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.

Teaching experience at the college level, with a preference for community college teaching experience.

Ability to teach courses on campus in an in-person setting at BHCC\'s Charlestown or Chelsea campuses.

Effective communication skills are needed.

Excellent organizational and teaching skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.

Professional experience in any aspect of journalism.
