Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Greenwood, IN. This role involves managing an elementary caseload and providing tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs. The position is a contract appointment for the uping school year.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to deliver appropriate instruction.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet specific learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and municate regularly with families.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification.

  • Excellent munication and organizational skills.
