Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Agile Leader to coach development teams in Agile principles, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster collaboration to deliver high-quality insurance products. The ideal candidate will be a servant-leader who drives Agile maturity, ensures alignment across stakeholders, and supports continuous improvement within cross-functional teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Coach development teams on Agile principles and best practices.
• Promote self-organization, cross-functionality, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies : Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Ensure ceremonies are engaging, time-boxed, and productive.
• Proactively identify and eliminate blockers to team progress.
• Act as a servant-leader to support team productivity and morale.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined, prioritized, and groomed product backlog.
• Ensure backlog items are ready for development and aligned with business goals.
• Facilitate transparent communication between development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
• Align teams and stakeholders on project goals, progress, and changes.
• Ensure teams follow Agile values, principles, and Scrum practices.
• Foster an environment responsive to changing requirements and business needs.
• Manage risks and issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, especially within the insurance domain.

Key Skills & Tools

Deep understanding of Scrum theory, roles, and practices.

Strong leadership, mentoring, and facilitation skills.

Skilled in identifying root causes and guiding teams to effective solutions.

Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile collaboration tools.

Understanding of software development life cycles within the insurance industry.

Familiarity with insurance-specific regulations and compliance standards.

Salary Transparency

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for the tagged location is $100,000 – $105,000 / yearly
