Pharmacy Operations Manager & PIC (Pharmacist-in-Charge)

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Operations Manager at our state-of-the-art community hospital facility. We're seeking an experienced, forward-thinking pharmacy leader to oversee our pharmaceutical operations while ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.

Position Overview

As the Pharmacy Operations Manager and PIC, you'll lead our pharmacy team across multiple facilities, working closely with our Memorial Hospital Pharmacy Admin team to optimize patient outcomes through integrated pharmaceutical care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of pharmacy operations
Supervise and coordinate pharmacy staff across multiple facilities
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy laws
Optimize workflow processes and operational efficiency
Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to enhance pharmaceutical services
Participate in clinical pharmacy duties as needed
Manage pharmacy budget and inventory control

Required Qualifications

PharmD from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy

Current Virginia Pharmacy License or ability to obtain within 90 days

Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience

Strong leadership and communication skills

Proficiency in pharmacy information systems

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree or ASHP-accredited residency

Previous management experience

Experience with multiple hospital pharmacy settings
