Human Resources Business Partner

This role is onsite in Burbank, California.

$40-$60 / hr. (DOE)

Duration : ASAP - 03 / 21 / 26 (W2 contract)

Our client is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner who thrives in a dynamic, relationship-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic insight and empathetic communication, serving as a trusted advisor to both leaders and employees. This role requires strong collaboration, sound judgment, and the ability to influence outcomes through partnership, coaching, and thoughtful implementation of HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for leaders and caregivers, providing expert guidance on employee relations, engagement, and organizational initiatives.
  • Advise and coach managers through performance management, conflict resolution, and workforce planning.
  • Support labor relations activities, including contract interpretation, dispute resolution, and union collaboration.
  • Implement and monitor HR programs, engagement action plans, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and regulatory requirements to identify trends, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; PHR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR or related experience.
  • Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to influence decisions, drive engagement, and align HR strategies with business needs.
  • Expertise in employee relations, HR operations, and labor relations within a complex or unionized environment.
