Do you enjoy working outdoors and somewhere new almost every day? We are looking for new team members who want to make a difference. We work all over Jackson County, Monday-Friday, with opportunities for overtime. We do most of our training in-house, with certified flagger training on the first day. Although these are seasonal positions, they do allow you to show us your interest and abilities, and allow you to become more familiar with the work we do and the equipment we use. Pre-Employment Requirements and / or Preferences

• Looking for 7 extra help temporary laborers for our Road Maintenance Division.
• Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 3 : 30 PM (schedule may vary)
• Must pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
• Must submit an acceptable DMV certified court print prior to hire.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen prior to hire.

Job Duties and Requirements

Under supervision to perform general unskilled or limited manual tasks and to perform related work as required.

Must be 18 years old. Position requires good physical condition with strength and stamina to do heavy manual labor for extended periods in all kinds of weather; ability to understand and follow oral and written direction; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.

Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's license and a good driving record. Possession of a valid Flagger's Certification Card and a valid Defensive Driving / Safe Driving card of certificate of completion, or ability to obtain both certifications within 30 days of appointment.
