As a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical care and support to children with diverse healthcare needs. You’ll provide therapeutic programs to pediatric patients facing cognitive, physical, and sensory disabilities or delays, all within the comfort of their home and community settings.

Your Responsibilities

As an SLP, your role will include :

• Evaluating patients with physical, psycho-social, and cognitive impairments to assess the potential benefits of speech therapy.
• Supervising Speech Language Pathologist Assistants and Clinical Fellows, ensuring patient care aligns with individual needs.
• Collaborating with physicians and caregivers to develop and evaluate personalized care plans.
• Coordinating care and documenting interactions with all healthcare professionals involved in the patient’s treatment.
• Providing therapeutic treatments for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, using appropriate tests and measurements.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including notes and verbal orders, in a timely manner.
