Seasonal Maintenance Worker

Seasonal Maintenance Worker will be assisting with general highway maintenance duties including but not limited to work on roads, ditches, county buildings and driving county vehicles and equipment. May need to work extended hours. Position will be filled for Fall to Winter.

Assist w / general highway maintenance duties, working on roads, ditches, county buildings driving County vehicles and using County equipment.

High School Diploma or GED

18 years of age or older

Valid MN DL

Walking, standing, lifting and bending to a significant degree required

Preferred Experience : Prior experience in construction, maintenance, equipment operation or other related experience.

Holidays (unless designated otherwise by collective bargaining agreement) :

Paid Time Off : 0 + Years = 7.70 hours per pay period. Maximum 200 hours per year. 3 + Years = 8 hours per pay period. Maximum of 208 hours per year. 5 + Years = 8.62 hours per pay period. Maximum 224 hours per year. 8 + Years = 8.93 hours per pay period. Maximum of 232 hours per year. 10 + Years = 9.54 hours per pay period. Maximum of 248 hours per year. 15 + Years = 10.47 hours per pay period. Maximum of 272 hours per year. 20+ Years = 10.77 hours per pay period. Maximum of 280 hours per year.

Probationary Period : Employees serve a twelve-month probationary period.
