Job Title : Test Automation Engineer (Infrastructure)

Job Location : Omaha, NE, Alpharetta, GA, Berkeley Heights, NJ, Dallas, TX, Atlanta, GA, or Frisco, TX (100% Onsite)

Employment Type : FTE / Contract to hire

Key Technology : Harness, Ansible, PowerShell, Microsoft Stack

Job Responsibilities :

  • Work with the team to 'build quality in' and prevent defects
  • Work with Product Management, Business Analysts, Developers and Solution Architects to gain a thorough understanding of solution requirements and help form and / or clarify acceptance criteria.
  • Execute automated and manual tests, design and implement automated test capabilities and perform exploratory testing.
  • Work in an agile team representing the quality perspective by identifying risks, developing mitigation plans and ultimately gaining consensus on the test approach.
  • Make and own the implementation of recommendations about the improvement of the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the testing activities and processes.

Skills and Experience Required :

Required

  • 5+ years of experience as Test Automation Engineer utilizing Harness and Ansible, PowerShell for scripting on Microsoft stack
  • Extensive experience working with Product Management, Business Analysts, Developers and Solution Architects to gain a thorough understanding of solution requirements and help form and / or clarify acceptance criteria.
  • Experience in building and executing automated and manual tests, design and implement automated test capabilities and perform exploratory testing.
  • Extensive experience in the preparation and execution of non-functional tests, such as security vulnerability testing, performance, load and latency testing, as well as the analysis of the results.
  • Experience in estimation methods, test planning, and execution.

    • Education : Bachelor's degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement
