Under the general direction of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) practices within the Lahey Clinic Professional Practice Model, MA State Nurse Practice Act and ANA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. The ANM supervises and coordinates the delivery of patient care on assigned unit. Assumes full management responsibility in the absence of the Nurse Manager, which includes communicating policies, effectively recommending salary actions, evaluating staff job performance and counseling staff.
