Objectives of this role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Billing Clerk to join our team in Maysville, GA .

The Billing Clerk is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing invoices for products and services related to overhead crane sales, installation, and maintenance. This role ensures accurate billing, timely collections, and compliance with company policies and customer agreements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Preparing customer statements and invoicing
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Bills daily service calls; process service calls and small project invoicing to ensure accurate costing, proper markups and scope of work and adherence to contractual requirements.
  • Assess billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, tracking down missing or correct data when necessary.
  • Prepare monthly receivables statements
  • Compile, organize, post, and prepare invoices, credit and debit memos
  • Review receivables paperwork and verify accuracy
  • Scanning Documents to Share Drive
  • Support the Accounting Department
  • Additional Duties may be assigned
  • Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
  • Mail, email, and process on-line billings invoices

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years accounting and / or Billing experience preferred.
  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines . This is a largely sedentary role, however some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift up to 15 lbs., open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
