A soon-to-be licensed Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) program in Marion, Indiana, is seeking a full-time Clinical Director to lead our clinical operations. Our program will serve both primary mental health and primary substance use disorder populations with a focus on evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Position Overview
The Clinical Director will oversee all aspects of clinical service delivery, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and lead a multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality care. The role includes program development during the pre-licensure phase and operational leadership once the program launches.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight for all treatment services (PHP, IOP, and OBOT)
- Supervise and support clinical staff, including therapists and case managers
- Ensure compliance with Indiana licensing requirements and accreditation standards
- Lead program development and establish treatment protocols before program launch
- Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
- Oversee quality assurance, clinical documentation, and performance improvement initiatives
- Participate in community outreach and referral relationship development
Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work (LCSW) or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC)Active Indiana license in good standingMinimum of 5 years’ experience in behavioral health, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleExperience in PHP, IOP, or substance use disorder treatment settings strongly preferredStrong knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements for behavioral health servicesExceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skillsCompensation
