Rocky Mountain Custom Landscapes has an opening for a full-time experienced Plant Healthcare (PHC) Technician to work in our Gypsum, CO location.

Rocky Mountain Custom Landscape is a leading landscaping company serving the picturesque region of the Rocky Mountains. With a passion for transforming outdoor spaces, we specialize in designing, creating, and maintaining breathtaking landscapes that harmonize with the natural beauty of the mountainous terrain.

Responsibilities :

• Properly and safely apply previously prescribed treatments to turf and ornamental tree and shrubs
• Diagnose insects, diseases and cultural issues which effect plant health
• Perform applications on previously diagnosed problems individually and as a team when required
• Select, mix and apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, insecticides and fungicides as directed by Supervisor
• Effectively communicate by addressing the customer's questions or concern, and update customer with the status of the work progress if requested
• Set up signage as necessary to notify clients and public of all applications
• Inspect turf, flower beds, and other areas of woody ornamentals for insect damage or presence, disease in plant material, improper soil nutrient content and other forms of turf damage
